Science Discovery @ 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Employees from the Santa Maria Utilities Department will lead the activity “Wiggly, Wonderful Worms: Our Friendly Compost Makers.” Look at and touch live red worms as you learn how they can turn food waste into rich compost, used to grow plants.  You will also learn how to build your own worm bin for composting at home!
