Porcupine Craft

Porcupines body are covered in roughly 30,000 quills which are around 2 to 3 inches long each. Did you know the popular misconception they can shoot their quills off of their body is actually not true! in reality, the quills are so loosely attached that when a predator attacks them, the quills will come off and slowly sink into the predators skin. Create your own procupine friend with us at the Museum!
