We’re less than 24 hours away from the Easter holiday, and Easter means egg hunts!

Families gathered at Dinosaur Caves Park in Shell Beach Saturday afternoon to hunt for candy-filled eggs. There were games, bounce houses, face painting and even a balloon artist.

The fun continued at another egg hunt at Laguna Lake Golf Course. The free egg hunt included, of course, a photo-op with the Easter bunny and some local firefighters.

In Santa Maria, kids gathered at the Santa Maria Valley Discovery Museum to hunt for eggs. One lucky scavenger found the “golden egg” and won a one year discovery museum membership. Outside of the egg hunt, kids got to run around and explore the museum, they also had the chance to do arts and crafts.
